Kingdom of Hann runs smoothly, Robert Count of Galinia and Prince of the Royal House rules in the Southwest of the country. One of his vassals is Richard Lord Angasa |

A mixed barbarian and monster horde, led by a mysterious figure called Kanna, destroys the Kingdom of Hann. Both Robert and Richard are killed fighting with the Army of the SouthWest. Their stiff resistance holds the barbarian armies, although the kingdom is destroyed Galinia and Angasa survive. They form an independent state under Oswald (Robert’s brother) who styles himself Prince of Galinia. Richard’s son Albert becomes Lord Angasa. |

523h | The barbarian hordes again form, this time under the leadership of a mage called Carne, and sweep through Galinia and Angasa. Refugees flee into The Wangate Empire, The Strongholds and Byrny. |

Many survivors from the barbarian attacks make their way to Angasa. They stand alone, without a ruler, as a den for thieves, pirates and smugglers. |

A naval action, sponsored by the Wangate empire, to recapture Angasa fails miserably. Pirate raids continue but are not as common as before. |

A meeting of the Council of Angasa formally bans ships based in the port from uncontrolled raiding. Ships with a letter of Marque are still welcome of course. (as are smugglers and undeclared pirates) |

Angasa establishes a reputation as a "Free Port" although it still has an unsavoury reputation. |

Destruction of the Wangate Empire by war bands lead by the War Lord Kane. Augustus, a rich merchant with distant ties to the old ruling family, was now living in the coastal state of Bufa, and managed to escape with much of his wealth intact. He used this wealth to finance marines for his merchant fleet and sailed to Angasa. A short naval engagement saw many Pirate ships taken or destroyed, and a final land raid secured control of the town. Augustus took control of the council house and named himself as Lord of Angasa. |

Oliver Green-Barrell, Raven King of Armes and Baron Holy Isle, conferred the title Grand Malik of Angasa on Augustus, after protest by Richard Briganda (who claimed the title Prince of Galinia and Angasa) was withdrawn. It is rumoured that Augustus made cash settlement and promised support for resettling Galinia. First resettlement of the Galinian main land. |
