SouthFerry

Briganda appointed Dana Spenine, an ex-trader cum fixer, to run SouthFerry. She has been working for him for years as a sort of personal secretary, she was the one that made sure all his contacts were kept properly informed and kept supporting him. Apparently she was related to the Old Albermarle family, who used to run the old Galinian Order at Tas Bardon, and offered her services as soon as she knew he was coming here. I saw her practising one day with a short-sword and dagger, wearing leather armour. She seemed competent enough, but not really a warrior ....

Anyway, she has built a small village here. She maintains a few horses for residents of Tas Bardon when they come ashore this side of the loch and a small garrison. She has a lieutenant and half a dozen men, more to keep the peace that anything and to run the occasional foot patrol around the outskirts. Most of her people are farmers, working the fields according to the crop rotation plan and keeping a few goats and sheep as well. There are also a couple of guys who make a living hunting fresh meat and skins for Tas Bardon and a few fishermen as well.

There are three other people of interest:

Ulf Gansen is a farmer who spent some time training at a religious house in Melmonia before the wars. He has built a small shrine to the Norse gods, particularly Idun, and conducts occasional services for the residents.

Gammer Gunter farms the land, but also runs a small bar called the Green Man. It functions as a meeting place, and sells local ales, ciders and mead. He will also let travellers sleep on the floor of the bar after hours, for a small fee.

Ulik beHann is a fisherman who owns a small barge and will ferry people and goods across to Tas Bardon for a small fee. He normally charges 1sp per trip for a person and 1sp per crate or cask. If a person wants to take more than a small backpack as luggage - he treats it as goods and charges accordingly.
