Ragnar Hafheim, Toriff of Giantsferry

Now in his  late 30s's, Ragnar served with the Earl during the first advances into Galinia, and has  served as his  squire since.  His position as Toriff of Giantsferry is a well deserved reward for helping plan the second phase of the reclamation.  When he  goes into battle he wears chain mail armour and carries a sword and shield.

His  wife, Hiordis, is rumored to have fought alongside him in those  early battles, but now turns away  such  questions with a smile.  Since then  she  has produced  twin babies for husband, Ragnar, and it seems that motherhood suits her.

The twins are  looked after by a nurse in the family  room.

The  rest of the family are  served by two pairs of  servants, who do the cooking and cleaning and  who also serve as  waiters, mains, butler, footman  etc.  when required.
