This building house the garrison for Giantsferry and also provides accommodation for small groups of visiting soldiers, men-at-arms or retainers.

The common room is simply furnished, with a few  tables and  chairs, a darts board, and a dressers  for  crockery and cutlery

The kitchen is  fairly well equipped, but  again at a fairly basic standard, and soldiery here are  expected to cook and clean for them selves.

Most  common food items can be found in the stores.

The barracks are  equipped with bunks, and each bunk has a small chest by the  side of it.  Weapon and armour racks are placed in each room.

The  sergeants have a responsibility to make sure their  squad behaves properly in the barracks building.
