Dincaoc (Fort of the Mist)

Physical Structure

A promontory fort, of sorts. A great ditch, faced with stone, topped with a palisade and crossed by a fairly narrow bridge separates a low headland from the mainland. An open village of round-houses sits just inside the ditch. The area closest to the village is crop farmed, but the outlying fields are used as cattle pasture. There is a small sheltered beach, which is approached down a flight of steps, which is used to beach small curraghs used by local fishermen. Low cliffs surround the rest of the headland.

Is the home of Lithri Edwy Treveri. About 130 other Treveri live in the round-house village, the Treveris live communally. Gaelic is the primary language and the language of most private conversations although many occupants speak Common. They have a specialist beekeeper who produces Honey and Mead.
